You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Service using your account. Each subscription is for a single user only.
Free Trial
We offer a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. During the trial period, you have full access to all features of the Service. If you do not cancel before the end of the 7-day trial period, your credit card will automatically be charged the current monthly subscription rate of $39.99. You will continue to be billed $39.99 per month until you cancel.
Subscription Fees
After the free trial, the Service is billed at the current monthly rate displayed on our pricing page. Prices are subject to change with advance notice to subscribers.
Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel your subscription.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app by clicking "Manage billing." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
Failed Payments
If your payment fails, your access to the Service may be suspended until payment is successfully processed. We will notify you by email if a payment fails.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.
You retain ownership of the competency narratives and other content you create within the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content to the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing coaching feedback and delivering the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and integrity of Your Content. All material submitted must be original work written by you. We do not review your content for accuracy or plagiarism.
The coaching feedback provided by the Service is generated by an artificial intelligence system and is intended as a preparation aid only. It does not constitute professional advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of any particular outcome.
The feedback provided through the Service reflects general principles of competency writing and chaplaincy practice. It may not reflect the specific expectations of any particular certification committee, region, or evaluator.
We make no warranty that using this Service will result in board certification or any other credential. Certification decisions are made solely by BCCI or the relevant credentialing organization, not by us.
The Service, including its design, features, coaching prompts, competency guidance content, and all associated materials, is owned by Chaplaincy Certification Coach and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
The BCCI competency names and descriptions referenced within the Service are based on publicly available BCCI materials. We make no claim of ownership over BCCI's competency framework or any other materials owned by BCCI or APC.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant that the coaching feedback provided will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CHAPLAINCY CERTIFICATION COACH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Mississippi, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us at support@chaplaincoach.org to request account deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid subscription fees for the unused portion of your current billing period.
